What is Denamarin?

When the liver is affected, reduces the natural production of SAMe (S-adenosylmethionine), and also decreases levels of glutathione. This molecule is the most important liver detoxifying because it is a powerful natural antioxidant, helping the detoxification of various components to make them more soluble and excreted.

The addition of silybin and Phosphatidylcholine helps strengthen the beneficial effects of the use of SAMe, and is especially useful in these cases:

      • Compromised liver function due to intoxication.

      • Acute phases of liver insufficiency.

      • Liver diseases with high inflammation.

DENAMARIN is a nutritional supplement designed to provide specific nourishment to help liver function in cases of acute liver insufficiency in dogs and cats.

Each tablet of DENAMARIN contains:

    SAMe 225 mg

Silybin A+B (Phosphatidylcholine complex) 24 mg

CHEWABLE TABLETS

Available in boxes of 30 and 75 chewable tablets.

How does Denamarin work?

SAMe (S-Adenosylmethionine) participates in the formation of glutathione, which helps reduce the toxicity of different components by making them soluble and easier to excrete. Because it is a powerful natural antioxidant, glutathione is the most important liver detoxifier. In cases of liver disorder, the natural production of SAMe is reduced, which means glutathione levels are also lower. SAMe also helps stabilize the liver cell membrane and facilitates the process of bile-acid detoxification.

Silybin A+B is the most active form of silymarin. It neutralizes free radicals, thereby protecting liver cells from oxidative damage. It inhibits the adhesion of toxins and the production of leukotrienes, which are involved in inflammatory response.

Together with silybin, phosphatidylcholine increases the bioavailability and the speed at which silybin is metabolized in the hepatocytes.

Instructions for use Denamarin
